3/13/23. Mahomes, who they showed on Channel 10, was quoted as having a home but it's a Foster home. He is now healed from amputation surgery after being rescued out of a Local shelter and ready for his Forever home - get your application in..

11-month-old MAHOMES is out of his sutures, and his three legs are ready to run and play with his forever family! Mahomes seeks people who like to play in the morning, late afternoon, and night. He chases anything that he sees moving, including the feet of the person throwing his ball, so someone sure-footed will be his best buddy.

Mahomes is very alert, with a strong growl and bark; though as big and tough as he sounds, he is as sweet. He loves cuddles, hugs, wrapping himself around you, and getting and giving kisses.

Mahomes enjoys walks and taking in new smells. He can get nervous around a lot of people activity if he doesn't know them yet, so slow introductions when walking or out on the town is best. He is good with large dogs but unknown with small dogs, cats, and young children.

Mahomes is create-trained and as happy sleeping in his crate at night (door open) as on his people's beds. He is not happy being left alone in the crate, however, and will do his best to get out. His foster has left him uncrated alone and not suffered any damage to stuff or Mahomes himself.

A happy dog, Mahomes is a great companion who reacts well to his people's emotions and needs, knowing when it is a good time to play versus rest and just be together quietly.

2/18/23. Mahomes did well with his surgery and was quickly up and walking around.

2/10/23. Welcome "Mahomes" straight out of Broward County Animal Shelter. No vaccines or name and was a owner surrender. He isn't a year old and very sweet but his injury is NOT new. He has been in pain for some time and needs amputation because there are no more ligaments. He is staying at our vet and we are working on surgery.
