8/28/22  "Gard" is around 5 years old and a stunning Doberman.  His previous owner left him at a boarding facility and never came back for him. Unfortunately this happens often when people cannot find homes for their pets and don't want to bring them to the shelter. 

Gard needs a doberman experienced owner who will work with him to give him a job. He likes fetch and running. He definitely is not a couch potato.  He needs an adult only home with no cats and he probably would do well with a female dog his size and energy.

Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL.
