5/15/24 Meet OLIVER! This incredibly sweet, affectionate, athletic and smart 5 year old dober boy found himself at the rescue several months ago thru no fault of his own -parents divorcing and no one could take him.

He then went into foster with an incredible family for the past few months but unfortunately they are unable to keep him because they live in a high rise condo and that does not suit OLIVER well as he is dog reactive in confined settings like an elevator. His heartbroken foster family describes OLIVER as a very loyal, loving and clever companion that loves to go on long walks, play fetch and cuddle with his humans every chance he gets. He has advanced training, knows many commands, is crate trained, walks nicely on leash and extremely food motivated. He likes other dogs ( prefers smaller dogs) if properly introduced in controlled setting, did well in daycare with other dogs but would definitely be best as only dog in the home. He loves all people, great with older children, greets all visitors to the home with a smile and his soulful eyes. He is fully house trained, signals when he needs to do his business, is quiet in the house and very obedient and eager to please. He is the dream Dobie for an active loving family with a fenced yard and no other dogs in the home. Has not been around cats so we will not put him in that situation.
